    "body": "<h4 id=\"illinois-department-of-central-management-services\" style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Illinois Department of Central Management Services</strong></h4><p><strong>Erik Col&oacute;n will serve as the Assistant Director of the Illinois Department of Central Management Services.*</strong> Col&oacute;n currently serves as Chief Asset Manager with the Illinois Department of Central Management Services. There, he oversees a portfolio of over 600 State-owned properties and leases, and he serves as the State&#039;s senior official on real property strategy. Col&oacute;n also currently leads Surplus to Success, an initiative repositioning underutilized public land to drive economic development, expand housing, and revitalize communities across Illinois. Previously, Col&oacute;n served as Managing Deputy Commissioner for Finance and Administration at the Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation. In this role, he served as the department&#039;s chief administrative and financial officer, overseeing a $350 million operating budget and over 2,000 employees. Earlier in his career, Col&oacute;n served as Assistant Commissioner in the City of Chicago&rsquo;s Office of the Chief Financial Officer, where he helped manage three of the largest municipal concession agreements in the country, representing over $4 billion in assets. Col&oacute;n served as Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy Reserves. Col&oacute;n earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Northern Illinois University and his Master of Public Administration from DePaul University.</p><h4 id=\"board-of-trustees-of-western-illinois-university\" style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University</strong></h4><p><strong>Nancy Paridy will serve as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University.*</strong> Paridy currently serves as President and Chief Administrative Officer at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, a prominent translational rehabilitation hospital in Chicago. Previously, Paridy served as Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel with the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, overseeing legal and compliance matters, human resources, government affairs, ethics, food service and nutrition, facilities, housekeeping, and security. Paridy has previously served on the Boards of Loyola Academy and Georgetown&rsquo;s School of Health. Paridy earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from Western Illinois University, her Master of Law from Loyola University School of Law, and her Juris Doctorate from Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law.</p><h4 id=\"illinois-committee-for-agricultural-education\" style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Illinois Committee for Agricultural Education</strong></h4><p><strong>Addison Page will serve as a Member of the Illinois Committee for Agricultural Education.*</strong> Page currently serves as Sustainable Agriculture Specialist at Rend Lake College in Ina, where he oversees agricultural technology course instruction, industry training, and curriculum development. Previously, he served as Precision Agriculture Specialist for Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners, where he trained customers and employees on the value of new agriculture technologies. Page earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Systems and Technology Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.</p><h4 id=\"illinois-criminal-justice-information-authority\" style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority</strong></h4><p><strong>Dr. Dustin Heuerman will serve as a Member of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority.*</strong> Heuerman currently serves as Sheriff of Champaign County, first elected in 2018. In this role, he provides leadership to law enforcement, corrections, court security, and emergency management divisions. Previously, Heuerman served as Criminal Justice Faculty and Program Coordinator with Lake Land College. Heuerman&rsquo;s law enforcement experience includes service as Deputy Sheriff of Champaign County, Village of Atwood Chief of Police, and Deputy Sheriff of Douglas County. Heuerman teaches criminal justice at Colorado State University&rsquo;s Global Campus. Previously, Heuerman served on the Illinois Community College Board. Heuerman earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Indiana State University and his Doctor of Education in Community College Leadership from Ferris State University.</p><h4 id=\"illinois-finance-authority\" style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Illinois Finance Authority</strong></h4><p><strong>Robert Steere will serve as a Member of the Illinois Finance Authority.*</strong> Steere most recently served as General Counsel with the Governor&rsquo;s Office of Management and Budget, retiring from the role in 2021. During his career, Steere has provided guidance on legal matters including governance, bond financing, taxation, budgeting, legislation, regulatory compliance, and ethics. Previously, Steere served as Libya Program Director and Azerbaijan Country Director with the American Bar Association&rsquo;s Rule of Law Initiative. His extensive international experience also includes service as Senior Program Manager with the National Democratic Institute in Iraq, Legal Advisor to Management Systems International in Iraq, Legislative Drafting Specialist with the National Center for State Courts in Kosovo, and Head of Administration with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo. Earlier in his career, Steere served as General Counsel with the State of Illinois in the Office of the Treasurer, the Department of Revenue, the Bureau of the Budget, and the Office of the Governor James R. Thompson. Steere earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctorate from University of Michigan Law School.</p><h4 id=\"illinois-state-medical-board\" style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Illinois State Medical Board</strong></h4><p><strong>Sarah Assian will serve as a Member of the Illinois State Medical Board.*</strong> Assian currently serves as Physician Assistant with Cook County Health, specializing in HIV and infectious diseases. Previously, Assian served as Physician Assistant with Howard Brown Health. Prior to her clinical career, she served in the Teach for America corps, teaching high school science in Chicago&#039;s Gage Park neighborhood. A Fulbright Fellow in Turkey and National Health Service Corps Scholar, Assian has dedicated her career to underserved populations. Assian earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University, and she is pursuing her Master of Business Administration from University of Chicago.</p><p><em><strong>* Appointments pending confirmation by the Illinois Senate.</strong></em></p><p style=\"text-align: center\">###</p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
