Gov. Pritzker Announces One Appointment to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

New Harmony Bridge Authority
Ellen Schanzle-Haskins will continue to serve as a Member of the New Harmony Bridge Authority.* Schanzle-Haskins currently practices construction and transportation law in Central and Southern Illinois. Previously, Schanzle-Haskins served as General Counsel to the Laborers’ International Union of North America, Midwest Region, focusing on civil rights, veterans’ issues, and the rights of union members and retirees. Earlier in her career, Schanzle-Haskins served as Chief Counsel with the Illinois Department of Transportation, Chief Counsel with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, Director of the Illinois Court of Claims, Senior Assistant Illinois Attorney General, and in other legal roles. Schanzle-Haskins earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and her Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
