Gov. Pritzker Announces One Appointment to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

Chicago State University Board of Trustees
Angelique David will continue to serve as a Member of the Chicago State University Board of Trustees.* David currently serves as the Executive Managing Director, COO, and General Counsel for The Ziegler Companies, where she has led the corporate functions of the business for the past 17 years. Prior to joining The Ziegler Companies, she practiced law at Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, focusing on investment management and corporate finance. David also serves on the Board of Directors for several organizations, including the Bond Dealers of America, Chicago State Foundation, WittKieffer, and Women in Public Finance. In addition to her corporate role and service on various boards, David is the Founder and CEO of Just 4 GirlFriends, an organization dedicated to uplifting women. Her work has earned her numerous honors, including recognition as one of the “25 Influential Black Women in Business” by The Network Journal and Crain’s Chicago Business 2021 “Notable General Counsels." David earned a Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University and Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
