Gov. Pritzker Announces Three Appointments to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointments in his administration

Illinois State Police Merit Board
Monica Argumedo will serve as a Member of the Illinois State Police Merit Board.* Argumedo is currently a Forensic Psychiatrist with Park Dietz & Associates. She also founded the 1st Response Psychiatry in Park Ridge, where she is Medical Director. Argumedo also serves on the Illinois Department of Human Service’s Forensic Working Group. Previously, Argumedo served as Psychiatrist with Rush University Medical Center. Argumedo earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and her Doctor of Medicine from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
Sean McCoy Britton will serve as a Member of the Illinois State Police Merit Board.* Britton currently operates his law firm Britton Law Offices LLC in Charleston, where he specializes in criminal defense and personal injury litigation. Previously, Britton served as Attorney at Hefner, Eberspacher, Tapella, Armstrong, Grove, Jones & Britton, LLC. Britton earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School.
Cynthia Bryant will serve as a Member of the Illinois State Police Merit Board.* Bryant currently serves as Chief Investigator with the City of Chicago Office of the Inspector General, as well as Pre-Licensed Therapist with E.M. Branch and Associates, Inc., in Chicago. Previously, Bryant served as Profit Assurance Investigator with 7-Eleven. Bryant earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Studies from Northeastern University, her Master of Arts in Criminology from University of Illinois Chicago, and her Master of Science in Counseling from National Louis University.
* Appointments pending confirmation by the Illinois Senate.
