Gov. Pritzker Announces Two Appointments to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointments in his administration

Children and Family Services Advisory Council
Gabriel Foley will continue to serve as a Member of the Children and Family Services Advisory Council.* Starting his career as a child welfare advocate, Foley currently serves as a Lived Experience Engagement Specialist and Knowledge Management Specialist for the Inner City Fund. In this role, he works directly with states and jurisdictions to address challenges faced by youth and young adults. Additionally, he is a current Young Adult Advisor for Illinois YouthCare Medicaid. Foley has served as Board Secretary for the Illinois Children and Family Services Advisory Council. Foley received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Bradley University.
Torture Inquiry and Relief Commission
Ivory Snow will serve as a Member of the Torture Inquiry and Relief Commission.* With over two decades of experience as a human resources professional,Snow currently serves as CEO and President of Hand OverHeart Consulting and as the Chief Administrative Officer at Saint Leonard’s Ministries. In these leadership roles, she plays a key role in advancing initiatives that support individuals reentering society. She provides customized reentry workforce and human resource training, including career coaching, job readiness training, and improving interview skills. Snow received a Bachelor’s degree inIndustrial and Organizational Psychology and a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Argosy University.
