Today, Governor JB Pritzker took the following bill action:
Bill Number: HB2586
Description: Makes several updates and changes to the Illinois State Police to aid in modernizing their statutory authority and missions. Amends Division of Criminal Investigation Language to be compliant with nationally-recognized ‘Alicia’s Law.’ Codifies existing process wherein state must provide funding for law enforcement agents to target online criminals who engage in child pornography and lure children into face-to-face meetings.
