Gov. Pritzker Announces One Appointment to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

Workers’ Compensation Commission Arbitrator
Gerald Napleton will continue to serve as an Arbitrator on the Workers’ Compensation Commission.* Napleton has served as Arbitrator on the Workers’ Compensation Commission since his initial appointment in 2020. Previously, Napleton served as Associate Attorney at Ridge & Downes, P.C., where he handled prosecution of workers’ compensation and personal injury matters for injured clients. Napleton currently serves on the Illinois State Bar Association, where he is Chair of the Workers Compensation Section and was Chairperson of the Young Lawyers Division. Napleton is also a member of the Illinois Bar Foundation, where he served as Board Member and Fellow. Napleton earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Saint Xavier University and his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law.
