Gov. Pritzker Announces One Appointment to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

Workers’ Compensation Medical Fee Advisory Board
Dr. Giridhar Burra will continue to serve as a Member of the Workers’ Compensation Medical Fee Advisory Board.* Burra currently serves as Chairman of the Board at the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute (IBJI) in Naperville, as well as an orthopedic surgeon. There, he specializes in sports medicine, joint repair, and arthroscopic procedures. Previously, he was Partner at Hinsdale Orthopedic Associates, now part of IBJI. Burra earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Kurnool Medical College, his Master of Surgery in Orthopedics from University of Health Sciences, and his Doctor of Medicine from Sri Venkateswaraa University.
* Appointment pending confirmation by the Illinois Senate.
