Energy Workforce Advisory Council

Darnell Tingle will serve as a Member of the Energy Workforce Advisory Council.*Tingle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community organizing, non-profit leadership, and environmental justice advocacy. With a career spanning almost two decades, Tingle has dedicated their life to organizing communities and championing sustainable, equitable change. Tingle currently serves as the Executive Director for the United Congregations of Metro East, spearheading organizing efforts surrounding environmental and immigration issues. Tingle's leadership is deeply committed to social justice, transparency, and innovation and has been a formidable advocate for environmental justice, working tirelessly to address the disproportionate environmental burdens faced by marginalized communities.

* Appointments pending confirmation by the Illinois Senate.
