Gov. Pritzker Announces One Appointment to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

Illinois Gaming Board
Caleb J. Melamed will serve as a Member of the Illinois Gaming Board.* Melamed is a dedicated public servant with nearly 20 years of experience serving as Legislative Liaison and Legal Counsel for Illinois Gaming Board. There, he worked extensively on legislative, legal, and reporting issues, affording him experience in all aspects of Illinois gaming regulation. Before that, Melamed served as Assistant Illinois Attorney General in the Opinions Unit, Hearing Officer and Investigator for Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, and for more than 20 years, Legislative Analyst and Legal Counsel on Illinois House Democratic staff. Melamed earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University and his Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis.
