Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

Will County Metropolitan Exposition and Auditorium Authority
William Kent will continue to serve as a Member of the Will County Metropolitan Exposition and Auditorium Authority.* Kent is an accomplished business leader with more than 20 years of experience in building and leading successful companies. Serving as President and Owner of four SERVPRO franchises across the Chicagoland area, he directs the operations of a high-performing, multi-franchise enterprise. Kent launched his entrepreneurial journey in 2005, purchasing SERVPRO of Joliet and starting with just one truck and two employees. Through strategic growth, strong leadership, an exceptional team, and an unwavering commitment to quality, the business now operates from a 20,000-square-foot facility with 35 employees and 20 service vehicles. His team ranks among the top of over 1,900 SERVPRO franchises in North America and has earned multiple honors, including 2025 Small Business of the Year from the Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce and 2024 Service Business of the Year from the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce. Before owning SERVPRO, Kent spent eight years at Tellabs. There, he was Project Manager for the AT&T account and oversaw large-scale telecommunications equipment installations nationwide. Later, as Manager of Quality Control, he led a team that developed and implemented processes for a $500 million services division.
