Gov. Pritzker Announces One Appointment to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

Health Facilities and Services Review Board
Patricia Lynn Pardie will serve as a Member of the Health Facilities and Services Review Board.* Pardie has dedicated her career to higher education research, having served as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost at University of Illinois Springfield. In this role, Pardie was responsible for interpreting the university’s academic mission, as well as coordinating and directing the activities of academic, administrative, and research units. Pardie received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Iowa and a Doctor of Philosophy from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Pardie’s appointment is effective August 15, 2025.
* Appointments pending confirmation by the Illinois Senate.
