Gov. Pritzker Announces One Appointment to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

Quality Care Board
Jae Jin Pak will continue to serve as a Member of the Quality Care Board.* Pak currently works as Research Associate II and Coordinator of Community Education for the Institute on Disability & Human Development at University of Illinois Chicago. There, he has developed, coordinated, and conducted presentations on disability-related topics. Pak also serves as Self Advocacy Training Mentor for the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program, working to empower self-advocates through leadership development. For over 25 years, he has worked on issues such as ending domestic and sexual violence, mental health, disability, anti-oppression, and cultural competency. Pak has received recognition for his work and leadership by the City of Chicago’s Commission on Human Relations Advisory Council on Asian Affairs, the Leadership Center for Asian Pacific Americans, and the Jane Adams School of Social Work at University of Illinois Chicago. Pak also serves as Vice Chairperson of the Statewide Independent Living Council, and he is a member of the Access and Functional Needs Advisory Committee. Pak earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Family Resources from Northern Illinois University.
