Gov. Pritzker Announces Three Appointments to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointments in his administration

Teachers’ Retirement System Board of Trustees
Devon Bruce will serve as President and Member of the Teachers' Retirement System Board of Trustees.* Bruce currently serves as Partner at the law firm Power Rogers, LLP, in Chicago. Having been with the firm since 1993, Bruce specializes in personal injury and accounting and banking negligence. Previously, Bruce was a law clerk for Justice Moses Harrison II on the Illinois Supreme Court. Bruce currently serves on the Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board. Previously, Bruce served as Chair of the Teachers' Retirement System Board of Trustees, Chair of the Illinois State Board of Investment, Member of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority Board, and Member of the University of Illinois Board of Trustees. Bruce earned his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
Bruce’s appointment is effective July 15, 2026.
Yadira Enriquez will serve as a Member of the Teachers' Retirement System Board of Trustees.* Enriquez currently serves as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Business Development, and Family Business Advisor of Enriquez Produce, Inc., a wholesale produce distribution company in Chicago. Previously, Enriquez served as Controller for Enriquez Produce, Inc. Deeply committed to advancing opportunities for Latino communities, Enriquez is a founding member and inaugural President of the Pilsen Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Board of Iskali, and previously served as Board Member of The Resurrection Project. Enriquez earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Commerce and Master of Business Administration from Monterrey Institute of Technology.
Enriquez’s appointment is effective July 15, 2026.
Geetha Pilli will serve as a Member of the Teachers' Retirement System Board of Trustees.* Pilli currently serves as Chief Information Officer for the North America Region at Case New Holland Industrial, a global leader in agricultural and construction equipment, where she oversees strategic initiatives and information technology operations across the region. Previously, Pilli served as Director of Enterprise Architecture and Applications at Core-Mark International, and as Director of Information Technology Applications at Eby-Brown, a division of Performance Food Group. During her tenure at Eby-Brown, Pilli delivered large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning integrations, digital platform solutions, warehouse management systems, and customer-facing mobile and web applications. Pilli earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences and her Master of Business Administration from University of Chicago.
Pilli’s appointment is effective July 15, 2026.
