Gov. Pritzker Announces Three Appointments to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointments in his administration

Illinois Forensic Science Commission
Jeanne Richeal will continue to serve as a Member of the Illinois Forensic Science Commission.* Richeal currently serves as DNA Technical Leader for the Illinois State Police (ISP) Forensic Sciences Command. Previously, Richeal served as Forensic Scientist for the ISP and as Criminalist for the Chicago Police Department. Richeal is an active member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Richeal earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University.
Illinois Secure Choice Savings Board
Demetrius Jackson will serve as a Member of the Illinois Secure Choice Savings Board.* Jackson currently serves as Lead Union Representative for labor union UNITE HERE Local 1’s Contract Enforcement Division. Previously, he served as Convention Services Houseman at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Jackson earned his diploma and certificate in machinery from Simeon Career Academy.
Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority
Sol Flores will serve as a Member of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority.* Flores currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Knight Impact Partners, a philanthropic organization that supports community-centered initiatives rooted in justice and equity in Chicago. Previously, Flores served as Deputy Governor for Health and Human Services in the Pritzker Administration, overseeing 10 state agencies and commissions with over 20,000 employees. Earlier in her career, Flores founded and led La Casa Norte for more than 17 years, expanding housing and support services for youth and families experiencing homelessness. Flores was an Edgar Fellow in 2013 and received the Obama White House Champion of Change Award in 2012. Flores currently serves on the Greater Chicago Food Depository Board of Directors. She earned her high school diploma from Lincoln Park High School.
