Gov. Pritzker Announces Two Appointments to Boards and Commissions

Children and Family Services Advisory Council

Patricia Lord will serve as a Member of the Children and Family Services Advisory Council.* Lord serves as an in-house attorney with the City of Naperville, where she has been employed since 2000. Previously, she served as Assistant State’s Attorney and Chief of the Civil Division of the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office. Previously, she was assigned to both the Civil and Juvenile Divisions of the State’s Attorney’s Office. Additionally, Lord is currently President of the Illinois Local Government Lawyers Association and is former President of the Illinois State Bar Association Local Government Law Section. Lord earned her Bachelor of Arts from Illinois Wesleyan University and her Juris Doctorate from University of San Diego School of Law.

Health Facilities and Services Review Board

Monica Hendrickson will continue to serve as a Member of the Health Facilities and Services Review Board.* Hendrickson has served as Public Health Administrator for the Peoria City and County Health Department since 2017. Prior to her current role, Hendrickson was an Epidemiologist for the Peoria Health Department and Director of Health Protection at Knox County Health Department. Hendrickson began her career as an Emergency Preparedness Planner for the Peoria Health Department. Additionally, Hendrickson serves as a member of the Solution Council, reviews grants for the Heart of Illinois United Way, and is a current member on the following boards: the Phoenix Community Development Services Board, the Trillium Place Board, the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board, and the Partnership for a Healthy Community. Hendrickson earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Master of Public Health from University of Michigan
