Gov. Pritzker Announces Two Appointments to Boards and Commissions
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointments in his administration

Guardianship and Advocacy Commission
Donald Dew will continue to serve as a Member of the Guardianship and Advocacy Commission.* Dew has dedicated his career to improving behavioral health strategies that significantly impact national, state, and local policies. He currently serves as President and CEO of Habilitative Systems, Inc., where he has generated over $150,000,000 in funding from government, corporate, and foundation entities over the past 40 years. For his achievements, Dew has received the Executive Service Corps Philanthropic Lifetime Achievement Award and the Illinois State Comptroller Visionary Black History Month Award. Dew received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Lewis University and a Master of Social Work from University of Illinois Chicago.
Tri-County River Valley Development Authority
Andre Allen will serve as a member of the Tri-County River Valley Development Authority.* Allen is a collaborative and results-driven leader with extensive experience in government administration, civic engagement, and higher education. Allen currently serves as a member of the Peoria City Council. He serves as a liaison to CityLink and the Police-Community Relations Advisory Committee. Previously, Allen served as Director of Student Affairs, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Methodist College. Allen received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science from Eastern Illinois University and a Doctorate of Higher Education Administration from Illinois State University.
